JOB DESCRIPTION

BASIC PURPOSE:

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Support attainment of department SQDC goals. Make sure assigned tasks and projects are completed by designated deadlines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Create Dial Layouts using AutoCAD
  • Update AutoCAD layouts to current WIC standards
  • Create PostScript files which will be used for Inline Printing onto dials in the manufacturing plant
  • Perform quality checks on the updated/created files and documents
  • Process ECNs that are distributed to Dial Design
  • Retrieve and update data from ERP system
  • Update layouts used on current WIC Inline Printing Stations
  • Create files as needed for inline printing using AutoCAD
  • Troubleshoot problems that may arise while performing designated duties


RESPONSIBILITIES AND ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
Additional duties may be assigned as necessary to support current or upcoming projects, marketing initiatives, or customer demands.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS/PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • College degree preferred
  • Excellent communication skills are critical. Ability to read and write English.
  • Must be proficient using a computer in the Windows environment.
  • Good mechanical skills required.
  • AutoCAD experience is a preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred, especially if it was in a "lean" environment.
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery. This is normally acquired through two to five years of manufacturing experience.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision and the ability to distinguish between subsets of individual colors and quality of colors.
  • Good eyesight (eyesight correction acceptable)


Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots. (PPE)
