Title: IT Project Manager
Start Date: TBD
Term: One Year
This position is responsible for the successful project delivery of IT application, infrastructure and/or security projects. The selected candidate will work closely with project stakeholders to understand business requirements, assess technology needs and implement technology solutions. This position will report directly into the IT PMO.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Technical Skillset - This role requires a blend of technical project management with business analysis skills – technical (infrastructure) is the most important. Business analysis skills are very critical for ensuring business needs and appropriate solutions are fully identified.
Solid Project Management Fundamentals - Experience managing technical projects following PMBOK processes. Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of all phases of PMBOK framework.
Waterfall Methodology – Ability to lead in a waterfall environment following standard SDLC practices.
Strong Communication Skills – We are highly matrixed and geographically dispersed, so written and verbal communication skills are both very important.
Executive Presence – Provide clear, concise status updates and prepare thorough and polished documentation for executive level review.
Cultural Fit – Ability to juggle competing priorities, multiple projects and occasionally work with ambiguity, while maintaining a “can do” attitude.
IP Migration Experience – One of the initial project assignments will involve the migration of system applications to a new network. Preference will be given to candidates with a proven track record of managing similar implementations.
Additional Experience and Preferred Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Project Management Lead.
Minimum of four (4) years' experience managing medium to large Information Technology Projects.
Strong Infrastructure background required.
PMP or related certification preferred.
Experience working in an IT PMO environment is a plus.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office; MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

Monday – Friday (8AM-5PM) After Hours – Emergency Only
Weekends and Holidays – Emergency Only
