As a Salesforce Architect, you will lead the planning, design, and engineering of enterprise-level platforms related to the Force.com platform (e.g. Salesforce, FinancialForce). This Platform Architect role will tackle initiatives of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Role Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the direction and best practices relating to the continued growth and implementation of the Salesforce platform.
• Maintain and develop relationships with key technology teams within Secureworks and with Salesforce ecosystem vendors.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand and document their needs while looking beyond immediate symptoms and tactical challenges.
• Provide hands on design leadership in large or complex development projects involving application development, migrations, integrations, enhancements to existing applications.
• Look for unique and innovative ways to balance open and collaborative "ways to work" within Salesforce under the constraints of a high-security environment.
• Provide influential and authoritative advice at a senior leadership level.
• Anticipate and address technical and organizational obstacles affecting teams within the Salesforce platform.
• Serve as an escalation point for fellow architects, integrators, developers on all technical questions and issues.
• Conduct long-term improvement operations (technical system assessments, code reviews, etc.) to ensure Salesforce stability and compatibility with evolving business initiatives.
• Mentor other people and teams on Salesforce technologies, techniques, or standards across the organization.
• Develop and maintain architectural documentation.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of new technologies.

• Two or more years of Salesforce Platform Architecture experience.
• Five or more years in a technology discipline.
• A passion for continual learning, discovery and embracing change is a must.

• Ability to create and maintain strategy artifacts (diagrams, process flows, guides).
• Ability to make recommendations and decisions even when all the information is not known.
• Effective communication skills; verbal, non-verbal and written; and ability to communicate with team members at all levels of the organization.
• Able to deliver challenging messages to senior IT and Security leaders.
• Ability to facilitate discussions, accommodating differing perspectives and personalities, while maintaining focus on the objective.
• Completed or has a desire to complete Salesforce Application Architect and System Architect certifications.
