We are seeking a

Quality Analyst Registered Nurse for our practice who provides clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. What you will do in this role:

• You will collaborate with clinical staff and physicians to promote performance improvement; advises on processes that promote compliance.
• You will perform clinical record abstraction and data entry for assigned studies / measure sets.
• You will help maintain current data definition knowledge.
• You will submit measure data in a timely manner; data submission meets deadlines.
• You will continuously monitor for quality and risk aspects during abstraction, forwarding concerns to VP of Quality Management.
• You will provide analysis of measure results and assists in process improvement to maximize compliance.
• You will perform chart reviews and participates in regulatory rounding.
• You will actively seek ways to control costs without compromising patient safety, quality of care or the services delivered.
• You will help complete surgical / procedure appropriateness reviews
• You will attend in-service presentations and completes all mandatory education requirements
• You will practice, develop and endorses customer service skills in relationships with internal and external customers.
• You may have other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associates or Baccalaureate degree in nursing Required
• Licensure as an Registered Nurse
• 2 years of hospital acute care experience required
