This is a great opportunity for Sales Development Representatives to help promote renewable energy. You’ll be placing outbound calls to warm leads and scheduling appointments for a separate team of In-Home Sales Reps to meet with prospective customers.

Most of your time will be spent verifying prospective customers’ eligibility and coordinating appointments.

You’ll be doing this on behalf of our client, SunPower, a leading US-based solar energy company that has been in business since 1985. SunPower designs, manufactures, and installs solar energy solutions and they need hundreds of Sales Development Representatives to help drive business growth.

This remote, flexible opportunity pays independent contractors $10/hour plus a $2 incentive per sale. Most agents earn between $12/hour and $14/hour.

You’ll be talking with prospective customers and making money from the comfort and safety of your own home.

Plus, you’ll enjoy flexible scheduling, where you use a self-scheduling platform to select when you work and when you don’t. You’ll have the freedom to schedule around your own needs, the needs of your family, and the important events in your life.

Hours of operation are 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM ET, seven days per week. You choose your own schedule within those hours of operation. Weekday hours are limited, though, making this an especially good fit for people looking for weekend hours.

Essential Functions

- Place outbound calls to warm leads

- Review customer history as necessary

- Follow policy and procedure guidelines

- Verify eligibility

- Actively look for sales opportunities

- Recommend in-home consultations

- Coordinate in-home consultations

- Document call outcomes as necessary

About You

Successful Sales Development Representatives will have the following characteristics:

It is recommended that you have a computer meeting at least the following specifications:

- High-speed, hard-wired internet

- Operating System: Windows 7, 8, or 10

- Processor: Intel Core or Intel Pentium 4

- Memory: 2GB of RAM

- Browser: Internet Explorer 11 and latest version of Chrome or Firefox

- Monitor: Dual monitors, each capable of displaying at least 1024 x 768 pixels

- Sound: Sound card installed (standard on most computers)

- Virus Protection: Up-to-date anti-virus software installed

- USB noise-canceling headset

NexRep contracts with people in 33 states. The only states we do not currently contract in are: AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, IL, MA, MD, ME, MO, NJ, NY, OR, RI, VT, WA, and WI. We do not currently contract with anyone outside of the US.
