Job Description

As a

Customer Relations Specialist (CRS) you will communicate with customers via telephone, email, and text. We are constantly welcoming new customers and strive to keep them informed and updated on CEF operations. A successful CRS will be comfortable listening to customers wants and needs and recommending products that exceed their expectations.

The CRS is the bridge between customers and our delivery service. You will use our software platforms to manage all customers, schedule deliveries, and ensure streamlined communications between customer’s needs and CEF drivers.

The winter season sees an increase in business and will require you to serve and communicate with multiple customers at once. Every team member at CEF has the ability to “wear many hats” and demonstrates a willingness to perform their role with excellence while assisting and serving others on the team. If serving customers, team members, and the company’s overall growth excites you, then this is the role for you.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer communication pre & post sale
  • Manage incoming phone calls, texts and email correspondence
  • Manage customer order processing
  • Keep up-to-date records for each customer in SalesForce
  • Manage the scheduling of deliveries
  • Manage shipments to out-of-state customers
  • Manage showroom appointments & scheduling
  • Manage office supply needs & office cleanliness
  • Manage purchases from vendors
  • Assist in marketing tasks & communications as needed
  • Assist in inventory support as needed
  • Assist in ecommerce support as needed
  • Assist in bookkeeping & accounting support as needed

Qualifications

Requirements of a CEF Team Member:

  • Alignment with Cutting Edge Firewood core values
  • Customer service experience
  • Sales and/or management experience (desired, but not required)
  • Flexible schedule, hours and days may fluctuate seasonally
  • Possess & demonstrate excellent independent time management skills
  • Knowledge of SalesForce (desired, but not required)
  • Ability to complete required tasks despite interruptions
  • A background check and drug test
