Job title: Electrical Engineer Estimated length:6 month to 12-month contract term or C2H Location: Remote to start. Position will report to Norcross, GA after return-to-work policy is implemented. Candidates: Must be authorized to work in the US In This Role: In this role, you will support R&D and production activities related to the development, design or manufacturing of products.
Skills:
3 - 5 years of relevant engineering work experience
Strong knowledge of electrical schematics Experience with Altium Schematic Capture and PCB Design tools
Responsibilities:
Assist the Electrical Engineering team in the design process for new products, support engineering efforts in sustaining legacy products and continuous process improvement.
Conduct electrical circuit hardware testing and troubleshooting Develop test simulations, test methods and perform required testing or data collection.
Assist in preparing, editing and organizing engineering and production documentation
Perform reliability analysis leading to product quality improvement Build test fixtures and assembly jigs.
Maintain accurate documentation of concepts, designs, drawings, and processes
Work with outside design partners and vendors for new product designs and maintain current products
Maintain technical coordination with Engineering, products design, test, and manufacturing.
Participate in and support prototype builds and lab testing Assist in production as needed
Qualifications/skills:
As Degree in Electrical engineering or other related engineering discipline, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
At least 3 - 5 years of relevant engineering work experience
Strong knowledge of electrical schematics Experience with Altium Schematic Capture and PCB Design tools a plus
Experience with oscilloscopes, signal generators and multimeters for testing purposes
Must be able to work independently, as well as closely with others in a small team as the situation requires Excellent written and verbal communication skills
