Freedom Rail is Looking for a Part-Time Site Manager
Job Summary:
Freedom Rail is looking for a dependable, customer friendly, organized site manager. The site manager will work closely with the local organizers to make sure operations run smoothly and be responsible for all aspects of operations, including customer service across all channels: in person, telephone, email and social media. Site manager’s will ensure that all employees keep rail bikes at the Railway in good condition and safe for guests to ride.
Job Location: 241 Depot Street, Blue Ridge, GA 30513
Responsibilities and Duties:
Greet all guests promptly at scheduled tour times
Outline the tour and timeline before beginning
Clearly articulately and provide information to guests in an engaging manner
Ensure that rail bike mechanics repair, check, and fix rail bikes following Freedom Rail’s standards
Ensure rail bikes are on time for tours and other deadlines
Be customer service oriented and personable
Knowledge of Covid-19 guidelines.
Skills:
Ability manage his or her own time
Ability to prioritize good team player
Able to problem solve and work in a fast paced environment
Able to be in the heat or be outside for extended periods of time
Able to perform safety talks
Basic First Aid
Customer Service Experience
Physically fit, able to perform light exercise such as pedal a bike, and able to lift and move 100 lbs
Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
Qualifications:
Have at least 1 year of retail management experience, or equivalent work experiences
Have excellent people and communication skills and a great attitude
Be able to work effectively on a team
Be responsible and reliable.
Must have availability to work weekends.
