Speedling, Incorporated is a modern growing facility that aids in maximizing efficient production of quality vegetable and ornamental plugs. Speedling is looking for a hardworking and dependable person to be a part of the team!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate the daily operations of crew members on the Fix-It Machine. This includes, but is not limited to, overseeing consolidation of plants from leftover trays to create 100% filled trays where practical in the most efficient manner with quality product at similar growth stages.
Operate and perform minor maintenance on Fix-It Machine, if needed.
Ensure work projects are completed satisfactorily.
Plan project timeline and submit material requests on schedule with Inventory Control Supervisor.
Maintain material inventory and regular cleaning of work area as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Clean criminal history and drug-free.
Must be in good physical condition and able to work outdoors for extended periods of time.
ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Manufacturing aptitude, Must be able to work as part of a team.
Willingness to work some weekends (Saturdays), hours will change based on business needs.
Able to lift up to 40 lbs and able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
