Our client has an immediate need for a Product Manager with NDT knowledge for their office in metro Atlanta. This is a direct hire role with relocation assistance and bonus opportunity. As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for the research, engineering and technical development for bringing new products and processes to market while maintaining existing products. The Product Manager ensures that the necessary internal resources, tools and processes exist to support and grow the product or service.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the process of generating new ideas for products and services that align with the company's goals and growth strategy.


• Evaluate products, processes and services to ensure that a viable business case exist. Perform market analysis to ensure that revenue targets are achievable.


• Develop business plans to justify startup costs and convey the strategy for assigned products and services.


• Present plans to senior management to obtain support and approvals needed to move projects forward.


• Utilize knowledge of the company's resources and core competencies to create training and implementation plans. Work with internal teams to ensure successful development and, eventually, integration of products and services into the business.


• Create clear and effective technical specifications for the product or service. Work with the Business Development, Corporate Development and Operations organizations to implement new product specifications as well as updating existing specifications.


• Work with the Business Development team to develop specific project proposals.


• Develop partnerships that support the success of the product or service.


• Develop and train the organization to effectively sell, engineer and deliver the product or service. Create documentation and references to ensure consistent and effective training practices.


• Provide subject matter expertise on assigned products and services. Support sales efforts at all levels and ensure the creation of winning proposals.

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related technical degree or equivalent work experience


• 5+ years of experience with in product development


• NDT knowledge and experience


• Experience in the electric and/or telecom utility space is a plus


• ASNT certifications a plus


• Willingness to travel overnight and work varied hours, sometimes in harsh weather conditions, to achieve desired results
