Job Title: Logistics & Distribution Implementation Manager

Department: Global Logistics

Reports To: Director, Global Logistics Strategy


Primary Function of Position:

The Logistics & Distribution Implementation Manager will be an integral part of the Global Logistics Strategy team and will help lead the implementation of RFP's, COE initiatives and Logistics & Distribution programs. This individual will lead cross-functional and cross-Business Unit improvement initiatives on process optimization, capacity, scalability, and efficiency. This individual will also help manage project chartering, facilitation, governance and tracking of other COE projects at Intuitive. The ideal candidate will have experience with logistics and distribution programs, Centers of Excellence, and a history of project management.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead cross-department and Business Unit process improvement projects within the organization
Run process mapping and brainstorming workshops that support all types of projects.
Collaborate with upstream and downstream partners to understand process pain points and drive improvements to impact cross-functional KPI's.
Evaluate, Design, Drive, and facilitate applicable reviews/audits of key planning processes and or identified gaps/risks to appropriate closure.
Create project charters, stakeholder analyses and process maps to aid in project initiation and planning.
Present project updates, findings, and detailed, prioritized recommendations to sponsors and key stakeholders in a range of different formats
Track and present out savings associated with RFP and/or COE initiatives
Drive project implementation working closely with subject matter experts and project champions/sponsors/stakeholders
Collaborate with Global Process Owners to implement system and process improvements ensuring alignment and consistency
Create metrics and dashboards to measure process efficiencies in order to validate process changes are creating the desired results
Partner with LSS Training Program manager to design focused training sessions for on-demand content tailored to the audience



Skill/Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, technology or similar or equivalent blend of work and certification experience required.
7+ years professional experience working with various stakeholders required.
Highly organized with strong ability to prioritize required
Expert user of Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint, Project, Excel, or similar required
Excellent communication skills including experience presenting in front of leadership required
Ability to travel domestically required. Ability to travel internationally preferred
Experience in a logistics and distribution environments strongly preferred
Fluent English language skills (both verbal and written) required
Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, aerospace, or other regulated industry strongly preferred
Familiarity with ISO13485:2016 and MDSAP
Excellent Project Management skills required. PMP certified preferred
Experience working with or leading IT teams in developing ERP (SAP) solutions.
Experience working with general contractors and familiarity with lingo.
Experience working for a Global organization across multiple functions and regions preferred
Highly pro-active with ability to work independently preferred
Enthusiastic and a passion to learn and develop
