Description:
Primary responsibilities:
Implement new layout design concepts into responsive layout.
Implement and deploy requested templates and functionalities into Magento and or Shopify via custom or packaged solution
Maintain knowledge of design trends and assist with implementation of design innovations.
Troubleshoot and fix front/back-end issues.
Ensure compliance with Web standards and accessibility requirements.
Utilize responsive design and UI/UX design principles.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
3+ years of development experience using HTML, DHTML and HTML 5.
3+ years of development experience in Magento EE and Shopify Plus
3+ years of development experience using JavaScript, CSS and CSS3.
3+ years of development experience using PHP & MySQL - Level intermediate.
Technical skills:
Professional standards-based web development using HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3
Strong JavaScript/Typescript knowledge/skills
Experience using JavaScript/Typescript to interact with both REST
Experience with Angular
Experience with Bootstrap CSS framework
Experience with MySQL or other Database systems
Must be able to demonstrate Git version control proficiency
Knowledge of security standards and techniques for web applications
Understand and account for browser-specific compatibility issues
Expertise in the design, implementation, and deployment of user-centric software, with focus on usability
Experience integration with 3rd party authentication for external partner portals
Expertise with logging / analytics solutions such as Google Analytics, Glew, BI tools
Experience working in an Agile environment
AWS experience a plus
