A fast-paced, locally owned ladies' boutique on River Street is looking for sales associates to join our team. Our ideal candidate is ambitious, personable, and has a great positive attitude. Must be available to work week days & nights, and must be able to be on your feet during your shift. Full-time and part-time positions available. Salary based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers by greeting them and offering them assistance
- Direct customers by escorting them to our products
- Advise customers by providing information on products
- Process cash & credit card payments efficiently and accurately
- Communicate with customers & drive sales
- Use judgment to solve customer problems
- Move/stock inventory
- Maintain scheduling commitments
- Open & close the store
- Receive & process shipments
Qualifications
- Previous retail experience
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Strong sales abilities
- Excellent verbal & communication skills
- Able to problem solve as issues arise
- Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
