If you are in the Roofing, Bathroom remodeling, Water Treatment, Kitchens, HVAC, Windows, Alarm, Pest control, D2D and any other home improvement business, there are significant secondary income streams which might become, with time, your main stream of income.

In addition to your main business product, you can sell solar for a highly competitive price, while you building rapport with your customers and creating another income stream.

If you are a Lead Generator, you can set appointment for our closers and get 50% of the commissions. An average commission is $7,400. We have a few lead generation companies on our platform.

For example: Sell a 10Kw Solar System for $2.80/watt for cash.

Total Project costs $28,000 - $18,000(the costs of 10 Kw system) = $10,000.00 profits. You will earn $7,000 in commissions.

Sell 25k system for $2.5 a watt cash

Cost is 1.7 251000=42500

Customer pays 250025=62500

62500-42500=225000.7=13500 Commissions

Average commissions on one sale is $7400

Started at PLATFORM 7 years ago, didn’t like the biz model back then of only being a lead generator for Solar City. I then tried out 5 other solar companies, where I found many that were not ethical or were downright fraudulent, so I left each one as I discovered that they were not the place for me. My commissions are higher. Communication is awesome. Install times are about the same as others around here. Ethics and honesty are a top priority. The company is CONSTANTLY working to improve everything and cut our costs so we can either give the customer a lower price or give us an even higher commission. Pay is on time and usually for more than I expected. No solar company is perfect, but I find the leaders at Platform to totally be on top of anything that’s a slight issue to change it fast for the better.

I was working in solar prior to PLATFORM. Since coming to Platform my daily life is much much better. I’m able to work significantly more efficient, I make about 3-5 times what I did prior. I answer to absolutely nobody. I’ve brought installers and project managers to the company so I’m working with everyone I was prior…. Yet everyone is working on their terms and make a few times what they were used to. In a nutshell, Platform is easily the best professional decision I’ve ever made. If you are in solar and not working with Platform it’s usually because you were fed some BS from someone who’s losing projects and their top people to this company. Again, highest commissions I’ve ever had or seen any company offer. And I love that as the consultant, I am completely in charge of what panel, inverter, warranty and price we go with. I’m a mentor and show others how everything works and help them to get their first few sales. I enjoy that immensely. Training is superb. I’ve earned stock options and also bought more stock options in the company as Platformis only moving up.

Platform gives us an awesome chance to win the deal. Excellent pricing and excellent value for the customer. Solar Insure kills it! This family shopped with 6 different places. We were the second lowest price and no one else had anything close to Solar Insure. The 30 year roof warranty is legit! Always be sure to leverage that benefit.

One thing to always remember- NO solar company is perfect. I have worked with Tesla, SunRun, SolarMax, Freedom Forever (who is good) and others. NO company is perfect and every company will give us frustration and those pull your hair out moments. Very few companies give us the ability to win the deal like Platform does. Its not always perfect but if you manage your pipeline, stay on your projects, leverage SolarInsure and the low pricing we offer in most markets, you ALWAYS have a chance to win the deal????

I think what has drawn me the most of all to Platform is the culture and (to me and anyone like me), people=culture, sure there are factors, variables, influencers, but ultimately, this all boils down to the people of Platform.

Been in the industry almost ten years with nine of them extremely deep into solar (eat, drink, breath solar), and I have also worked with & for maybe 25 companies and NEVER have I experienced this type of culture and energy and it's basically addicting! It's a family/familia, an energy/force, a movement!

The Platform of 2021 has evolved quite a bit. Yes it’s a brilliant model and the founders are some of the most idealistic heart centered entrepreneurs out there. But now the back end operations is catching pace with the sales aspect. We have recently brought on some of the top operations executives in the entire industry and things are continually improving. I’ve got 13 years in the solar game. I’ve seen it all and I certainly would not be at Platform helping to build the world’s greatest solar company if I didn’t wholeheartedly believe in the mission and the leadership.

As someone who has sold through Platform and installed through them… I was very impressed considering their growth and size. Their pay as a installer was not bad. A few small tweaks and they could really make it work.

As a sales rep I was also also impressed… The only negative was different install experience by the region you are in.

If you sell remotely or just want to sell Solar occasionally I think this is the best option.

They have an incredible concept and their growth is proof of that.

I can't say enough good about Platform. Yes, I'm an independent consultant with the company, so you may say that I'm biased, however, solar is my career and I've worked at 6 solar companies. I left the other 5 because I saw them doing things that at the low end were just not good business practices and at the high end, they were doing outright fraudulent things. I discovered that it's hard to find a great solar company to represent.

I only want to work with honest and ethical people. I only want to work with leaders of a company that do their job because it's what they love and their heart is more important than sales/profits. I've spent many days with the leaders of Platform and I love them for who they are and what they do. They genuinely want to change the world for the better. This is the only solar company I've ever seen or heard of that puts people first above all else. They do the right thing, even when it's difficult. I've read every single review here and I am sorry that a few people didn't have the best experience. Platform experienced an 1,100% growth from 2019 to 2020. That's huge!

And in that massive growth, while the company was adding and training many new employees to handle all of the additional solar installs, I'm sure some things fell into the cracks. But, I do know that everyone at Platform was doing their absolute best during that period and because of the growth, many changes have been made that improves the entire process.

Another thing that I love about Platform is that they are continually improving everything. As a sales consultant, I see them lowering prices for us often so that we can save homeowners even more money. They've added so many new things to better the company, the process, the speed, the communication with homeowners, etc., that I can't even begin to list them.

If you are interested in solar, I ask you to give a Platform consultant the opportunity to sit down and talk to you. You have nothing to lose, consultations are free, and you'll be shown if your home is a good fit for solar or not, and if it is, you'll see how solar works, how it works with your specific electric company, and of course, what the system price is, what your monthly payment is and the estimated savings. Solar works. It's benefitting millions of Americans right now and the growth chart shows that there will be 4 times as much solar installed in the next 8 years, as there has been in the last 40 years combined. Prices are the lowest in history. Efficiency of panels, inverters and batteries are the highest ever. Financing rates are the lowest ever. Lifetime of panels is the longest ever. Savings is the highest ever. Our warranty is the longest ever. At the moment, there's a 26% Federal tax credit for solar. But, even without that tax credit, solar still makes great financial sense for most homes. Platform has a lot of webinars for us consultants, and we are all taught the process/equipment/customer care deeply. And if there are any bad apples that don't do right by the customer, Platform gets rid of them.

Everyone I know at Platform has a deep, deep admiration of the company and wants every single person to be as ethical, honest, transparent, and open with homeowners. It's the only way to be, in my opinion. Platform is the last solar company I'll ever be working at. I'm 56 this year, and don't plan to ever retire, as I love what I do so much. My father is 87 and still farms hundreds of acres of corn and soybeans. As long as I'm healthy and can help homeowners switch to solar, I'll be here. I love this company.
