As a part of our home network group's CPE design team, you will lead the DOCSIS RF development efforts for home gateway and EMTA products. This specifically includes:
Working with chipset vendors to implement production ready DOCSIS designs
Implement designs with latest DOCSIS technologies to meet varied customer network topologies and needs Generation of RF and DOCSIS test plans and criteria
Work with component vendors to help create optimized cost-effective, high-performance RF designs RF Filter design, simulation and validation
Collaborate with global teams of developers including mechanical engineers, layout engineers, firmware and software developers and regulatory teams
Support factory teams with New Production Introduction, test criteria generation, component selection and general support
Direct 3rd party designers including, RF specifications generation, design reviews, validating test plans and reviews
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering or a similar field
10 years’ experience in development of RF front ends for high volume products
History of leading design development, test, and verification of design to ensure measured results meet design target and cost. This includes procedures, test structures, simulations, and proposals of design improvements
Strong background in the use of RF test equipment including power meters, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers
Strong experience in RF modeling and simulation tools
