SUMMARY:
The goal of Families First’s Counseling Program is to provide skilled and appropriate counseling that contributes to the well-being and success of children and families. The Counseling Program Manager will provide administrative and clinical oversight of the agency’s Counseling Program and will also be responsible for monitoring, developing, improving and growing the program.

COMPETENCIES:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent electronic clinical or medical record (ECR/EMR) ability.
· Strong organizational and planning skills as evidenced by meeting deadlines, following through on assignments, delivering high quality products, and providing adequate time for consensus-building, especially review, feedback and approval.
· Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.
· Ability to function independently and in concert with other staff and supervisors.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Masters of Social Work degree (preferred) from an accredited university or college.
· Clinical Licensure in the State of Georgia or license eligibility within three months of hire.
· Five years of post-graduate mental health counseling, including two years of home- or community-based. counseling to youth, families, and/or couples.
· Three years supervisory experience. Certified clinical supervision preferred.
· Experience with insurance paneling, 3rd party billing requirements, and core services.
· Experience with tracking Key Performance Indicators and target/utilization rates.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normal well-lit confidential office environment where there is little to no physical discomfort due to temperature, dust, noise and the like. May be required to meet with staff,clients and donors throughout the facility and in remote offices and locations.
