Responsible for oversight of the team’s performance with respect to contractual requirements & Metrics; supporting process improvements
Works with Quality & Training teams to identify and improve teams deliverables; identify improvement opportunities & mentor coders
Demonstrate strong leadership; operational planning and presentational skills as well as display good judgment and critical thinking to address business problems that touch upon the coding unit’s work.
Facilitate conflict resolutions and counsels’ staff. Provides additional orientation and skill development on an ongoing basis.
Reviews client grievances and participates in conflict resolution with clients and staff as needed.
Maintains regularly scheduled meetings with the division personnel to discuss performance and lad improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; nursing; business administration or related to the health industry from an accredited school; and at least 2 years of experience clinical work; medical coding; medical billing or care management.
He / She must demonstrate the ability to oversee the chart review life cycle from scheduling access; collecting images; coding chart and updating data software.
