Job Purpose
Systems Engineers lead technical teams through systems definition and requirements engineering, design synthesis, and systems analysis and the design, implementation, operation and technical management of systems projects.
Key Responsibilities
Create product or system definitions and conduct initial requirements analysis.
Develop technical reports and diagrams detailing product or system attributes.
Analyze product or system functionality as defined by requirements.
Interface with and learn how to work with disparate engineering teams for technical tasking.
Additional Responsibilities
Conduct top-down functional analysis and translate requirements into detailed performance design criteria.
Design and build templates to assist SMEs in providing critical system information.
Conduct product or system design synthesis translating requirements into physical architectures for systems of low complexity. -Define/refine internal and external interfaces.
Define enterprise conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) activities.
Develop novel model-based approaches to support the Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition life cycle.
Apply MBSE tool suites to enable the use of model-based best practices in DoD acquisition and system life cycle support.
Support industry and DoD sponsors in the use and application of MBSE to Tradespace analysis, design, and acquisition.
Execute model-based systems engineering processes including functional decomposition, requirements development, architectural development, and test program development.
Present technical and program management presentations to government sponsors.
Perform business development of MBSE research and open architecture activities.
0 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related degree field
Preferred Qualifications
Active Secret Clearance
Experience with the design, development, and execution of systems engineering solutions for Electronic Warfare and/or avionics systems
Travel Requirements
Hybrid Schedule:
Must be able to travel 3x a week onsite to Warner Robins
