Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support our Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) program at Robins AFB, GA. The Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) is an intelligence enterprise system, comprised of 27 active duty, Air National Guard (ANG), and mission partner sites, interconnected by a robust communications infrastructure spanning the globe. The networkcentric, global enterprise provides 24/7/365 world-wide, Near-Real-Time (NRT) simultaneous Multi-Intelligence (Multi-Int) capabilities and products to Combatant Commanders (CCMDs).

This position will support the transition of the Explosive Ordinance Disposal Information Management System (EODIMS) program to the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS)

Moving EODIMS to a PEO capable of handling a DIMA system will assist in closing a national security gap enabling the Director of National Intelligence (DNI)/IC community to coordinate and develop efforts to
meet operational requirements of EO/INT data sharing across DoD, Homeland Defense, DoS, and DOJ enterprises.

The Software Engineer will perform work that applies a broad theoretical and practical knowledge of software engineering to include but not be limited to reviewing, preparing, and analyzing all types of documentation: Planning, requirements, design, Validation and Verification (V&V), support and test. Also to include source code, configuration files and engineering resolution support.

Responsibilities

• Determining operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions
• Documenting and demonstrating solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
• Improving operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures
• Obtaining and licensing software by obtaining required information from vendors; recommending purchases; testing and approving products
• Providing information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues
• Accomplish engineering and organization mission by completing related items, as needed
• Performing Software Quality Assurance (SQA) to ensure that developed software meets and complies with defined or standardized quality specifications.
• Working as a member of an agile software development team. Performing some mix of the below tasks as directed by the Government team lead or engineering lead
• Elaborate high level feature/function descriptions into detailed technical designs and tasks, in collaboration with users (from Lead Command or operating units) and Government lead engineers
• Perform coding tasks for features/functions
• Perform coding tasks for functional and performance tests for features/functions
• Perform peer design and code reviews with other team members
• Perform coding/scripting tasks for software build, packaging and deployment
• Perform other software engineering and documentation tasks as assigned

• Minimum of a Secret clearance required; Top Secret security clearance preferred.
• One of the following Education/Experience criteria must be met:
  • Master's degree in any discipline with a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from an
    ABET-accredited university and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 years of which must be in the DoD.
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from an
    ABET-accredited university and fifteen (15) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD.
