Responsibilities

Perspecta has an exciting opportunity available for a Audio Video (AV) Lead at Fort Shafter, Hawaii.
The United States Army Pacific (USARPAC) G6 staff office has a requirement to plan, modernize, operate, and maintain the Command, Control, Communications, Computers (C4) and Information Technology (IT) systems and services supporting USARPAC, its subordinate commands, and strategic and operational partners. Support will include the complete infrastructure life cycle for all hardware, software, and services; including planning, analysis, engineering, design, development, installation, integration, testing, operations and maintenance, and training of all supported USARPAC G6 C4 and IT systems.

Proven experience as a AV Lead managing all areas of AV, VTC, and UC. The AV Lead will be responsible for the coordination of requirements in the USARPAC G6 portfolio for project planning, scheduling, cost estimating, monitoring, and reporting. The AV Lead will be responsible the life cycle upgrade of Consolidated Command Center/Distributed Command Post (DCP) AV/VTC systems for all Major Subordinate Commands and Theater Enabling Commands in Hawaii, South Korea, Japan, and Alaska. This effort ensures that all USARPAC Command Centers, DCP, and mission essential systems are upgraded in order to perform their assigned duties. The installations and upgrades enable USARPAC Command Center systems configurations to be compatible with other Army installations with the latest technology available.
AV/VTC systems include audio systems, video distribution systems, multi-classification VTCs, control systems, and communication systems and the effort is accomplished via site surveys, engineering and design, procurement and logistics, and implementation of scheduled upgrades. Once lifecycle upgrades are competed and turned-over to the Government, The AV Lead is then responsible for the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) for the systems. This support includes AV/VTC technical support on all Army networks, troubleshooting, break/fix actions, preventive maintenance, and bi-annual user training to USARPAC, Major Subordinate Commands, and Theater Enabling Commands. Today, O&M support is being provided on-site in Korea, Hawaii, and Alaska.

Qualifications

BS 12-15, MS 10-13. Phd 10+

It is required that the AV lead has the following qualifications:
a. Possess a Top Secret (TS) clearance with access to SCI based on a Single Source Background Investigation (SSBI).
b. Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
c. InfoComm Certified Technology Specialist or equivalent certification.
d. A minimum of 10 years of experience engineering and implementing AV/VTC projects in the USINDOPACOM AOR.
It is desired that the AV lead has the following qualifications:
e. A minimum of eight years of experience in AV programming at intermediate to advance level and complexity which may be inclusive of three years experience with Army networks.
