We are a Hawaii Business Magazine "Best Place to Work" and a Pacific Business News "50 Fastest Growing Company in Hawaii." We are currently looking to add a full-time accounting liaison to our team to start immediately.

Job: Accounting Liaison

Company: Maui Resort Rentals

Job Location: Currently in Lahaina, relocating to Wailea

Type: Full Time

Pay: $50,000 Per Year

Benefits: Medial, Dental, and 401K Retirement Plan

Experience: Prefer Minimum 2 years of Accounting/Bookkeeping Experience

JOB DESCRIPTION

As Accounting Liaison you will be responsible for the following duties:

-Weekly batch transfers

-Monthly reconciliation of batch transfers

-Weekly PayPal transactions audit

-Monthly Revenue Audits

-Assist with Accounts Payable/Receivable

-Daily data entry of Expenses into QB

-Monthly assist with Tax Filings

-Monthly assist with Client Proceeds

-Assist with Tax Office notices as needed

-Monthly reconciliation of Balance Sheet Accounts in QB

-Easy to moderate recurring and nonrecurring accounting task in QB

-Performs all other related duties as assigned

RELATIONSHIPS

As Accounting Liaison you will directly report to our Finance Manager. The Finance

Manager is in charge of the Accounting Department. In addition to the Finance Manager,

you will be working with our Guest Experience Manager, Owner Experience Manager and

Operations Director to ensure each guest folio has a zero balance prior to check-in and

owner account folio issue/concern is addressed as needed.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

The following skills & competencies will be required as Accounting Liaison:

-Highly skilled in dealing with financial and numerical data

-Excellent judgment, problem solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy

-Strong planning and organizing, project management and communication skills

-Able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously, work under pressure, in a deadline driven environment

-Skilled in use of Excel spreadsheets

-Proficient in use of personal computers and related software application

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team to take on new task with mid to high level of difficulty

-Demonstrate ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities

-Excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the necessary hours during

peak periods
