Are you ready to LEVEL UP in your CPA tax career? Carbonaro CPAs is seeking a person to fill the tax supervisory role on Maui. We have a TEAM oriented work environment with offices on Maui and the Big Island.
The Tax supervisor will be responsible for the Maui tax clients and assist our Tax manager on the Big Island. We work as a team and cross train our staff in order to grow in technical skills and experience in all types of tax returns. We are looking for a person who is willing to take on the challenge to advance in technical tax skills and trends in the industry.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, nonprofit and fiduciary tax returns.
Assist and train tax staff
Manage Maui tax workflow
Collaborate with team on the Big Island
The ideal candidate must have:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
CPA or EA license
Minimum of 5 years of tax preparation experience
Ability to prepare various types of tax returns
Critical thinking, attention to detail, problem solving, and organizational skills
Ability to manage and prioritize work
Great communication and teamwork skills
Supervisory experience
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience with Ultra Tax a plus
