Come and join the Hawaii Center for Children and Families team. We are looking for licensed behavior analysts to provide ABA services and to make a difference today. An HCCF licensed behavior analyst is committed to providing quality services to adults, children, and their families through direct services, parent training, or group therapy.

Position Summary:

An HCCF Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is a graduate-level certification in behavior analysis. Professionals who are certified at the BCBA level provide behavior-analytic services. The BCBA provides a range of applied behavior analytic (ABA) assessment and clinical services for children, adolescents and adults with autism spectrum disorders and related developmental disabilities. The BCBA provides supervision to RBTs, provides training to caregivers, conducts behavioral evaluations of clients and designs behavior and individual support plans for clients. The BCBA is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, communicating and continually evaluating the effectiveness of functional assessments, behavioral evaluations, and behavior plans for clients.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Designs and supervises individualized ABA programs for individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders in different settings such as in-home, in-schools, in-clinic, etc.

Fine-tunes treatment plans as appropriate to meet the needs of the client.

Makes regular client visits to overlap with Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) observe sessions and provide coaching and clinical support, supervise the effectiveness of the behavioral plan, provide feedback, chart progress and provide family training.

Analyzes data and evaluates documentation submitted by Interventionists such as notes and lesson plans; updates individualized programs to ensure that they reflect each child's development and progress towards identified goals.

Conducts initial assessments, continuing assessments to generate behavior plans, and assessment reports.

Creates, implements and reviews behavior plans as needed.

Produces progress reports and treatment plans to meet the requirements and submission timelines of regulatory agencies and funding sources.

Monitor client progress through regular meetings or sessions;

Implements behavioral programming in a 1:1 setting.

Collects data on all programming and writes progress notes.

Maintains regular contacts with other agencies/professionals regarding client progress through phone calls, letters, and/or monthly reporting;

Adheres to HCCF standards

Required Qualifications:

Active license to practice in the state of Hawaii.

Clean background check.

Ability to document and submit to billing daily.
