Hawaii Palms English School is accepting applications for part-time and temporary ESL teachers.
We are looking for experienced teachers for the following positions:
KIDS ENGLISH TEACHER - Summer Program runs from July 22 - August 30.
We plan daily lessons and activities for international students ages 6 - 12. The program aims to create a fun, safe, and interactive immersion environment to help students practice their English. The program runs for 6 weeks, but teaching assignments can vary depending on teacher availability and student enrollment. Ideal candidate has experience working with children and teaching ESL.
KINDERGARTEN CLUB TEACHER - Kinder classes from July 8 - August 23.
Our Kindergarten Club is an English immersion class for students ages 4 and 5. Each day, we pick a language theme and introduce vocabulary, play games, learn songs, do arts and crafts, and complete simple worksheets that target the day's language. Classes are small with no more than 5 students in them. Ideal candidate has experience working with young children and teaching ESL.
ESL TEACHERS - We teach private and group English lessons to students of different ages and proficiency levels. Lessons are either planned according to the course's curriculum or, in case of private lessons, the students' needs. We have classes to fill in July and August, but there's always the possibility of extending teaching assignments if the classes are extended.
