Construction Project Engineer / Manager
Bruce Matson Company, Inc. has been doing business in Hawaii for 40+ years and continues to be 100% locally owned and operated. We are seeking a new team member for our Kaimuki office.
compensation: - Starting salary range $50,000 - $90,000 Based on Experience
Full time position, Monday - Friday, 40 hours weekly

Seeking a full time employee to perform administrative engineering in our Kaimuki, Hawaii office. Ideal candidates are seeking long term employment, are knowledgeable about millwork products and installation processes, self motivated, independent, dependable, and a strong communicator.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Oversee the construction administration of projects including site observations, review of shop drawings and change orders.
- Prepare take off's and pricing from plans and specifications
- Price change documents and tracking change orders
- Place orders for materials and supplies and coordinate deliveries to jobsite.
- Act as contact person for the project team and maintain regular, effective communication.
- Prepare material submittals for review by architects and contractors
Requirements:
- Blueprint reading and analyzing skills
- Basic computer skills, proficient in Excel, Word and MS
- Experience with on screen takeoff helpful but not required
- 1 year minimum construction project estimating experience helpful
- Construction industry experience
