Unit DescriptionAre you a competent and experienced Biomedical Equipment Technician looking for your next step with a large progressive healthcare team?Sodexo is seeking a Field Service Biomedical Equipment Technician 2, preferably with dialysis experience located in Honolulu, HI with a domicile in Oahu, HI. An ideal candidate will have the preferred experience servicing a broad spectrum of medical equipment.Candidate must possess a high level of technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to make high level decisions regarding repairs and service of customer equipment. Candidate must possess excellent customer service skill as well as the ability to communicate effectively with customers regarding services performed. Candidate must also possess excellent time management and communication skills both written and verbal, as they serve both internal and external customers, vendors, and colleagues. Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record as this position requires island to island travel daily to customer sites.Is this opportunity right for you?Working in Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) for Sodexo, you will partner with our Healthcare clients to manage their clinical technology needs. Together, we provide leadership and expertise for their business, patients, residents and the staff who care for them.Therefore, we are seeking solution-oriented candidates who excel at customer service with proven success as a Biomedical Equipment Technician 2 (BMET). Sodexo’s BMET professionals have:Formal training and preferred experience servicing clinical equipment

Experience in a healthcare facility or healthcare setting

Experience effectively repairing, maintaining and calibrating clinical devices such as:

Reverse Osmosis Machines, Peritoneal Dialysis Machines, and Hemodialysis Machines.

Infusion pumps, Defibrillator's, Patient Monitoring, Electro-surgery Units, Endoscopic Surgery Equipment, Nurse-Call, Neonatal Warmers, and IV Pumps.

Proactive thinking skills to troubleshoot

Strong customer service skills; ability to provide world-class service to healthcare customers
