Job Description

HII-Mission Technologies Division is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse Team in developing advanced information technology solutions for the Department of Defense (DoD). This person will work regular business hours remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities include, but not be limited to the following:

• Work with business analysts and users to determine application and database requirements.
• Design, build, and test applications and data processing programs for operational efficiency.
• Contribute to architecture, code, and program reviews.

What You Will Need

• 5 years of experience and a completed Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, but a degree in information systems/technology, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or engineering; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in a related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in a related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
• Working knowledge and hands-on experience with key software programming technologies such as: ASP.NET Core, MVC, Entity Framework Core, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements.
• To be eligible to support this government contract it is a requirement to be a U.S. Citizen

Bonus Points For

• Experience designing and developing reports and dashboards connected to a database.
• Working knowledge of programming in SQL.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
