The ideal candidate for this position:
Has experience working in customer service and/or the food service industry
Can work a flexible schedule including:
o Day and Evening Shifts
o Holiday and Weekends
Has a reputation for giving great service to guests and coworkers
Is enthusiastic about sharing our Aloha Spirit with our guests
Can maintain a pleasant smile and demeanor throughout the shift
Can handle multiple tasks at one time
Is self motivated, especially under pressure
Communicates Aloha in person and over the phone
Has good problem solving skills
Is able to pass and practice the TiPS training course
Performance Expectations:
Makes eye contact and greets guests with Aloha and enthusiasm
Treats customers and co-workers with courtesy and respect
Answers the phone with a Aloha and takes to-go orders as needed
Can lift and carry up to 20 pounds
Can communicate effectively to both customers and co-workers during busy periods
Clears and cleans tables in an orderly, quiet and efficient fashion
Restocks supplies/dishes as needed
Communicates to supervisors when help is needed to maintain customer service
Is knowledgeable of the menu and able to answer guests questions
Helps hostess seat guests as needed
Helps food runner deliver food as needed
Helps servers deliver beverages when available
Positively responds to requests for assistance from co-workers and guests
Takes initiative to help in any area of the restaurant when slow
