We have an immediate need for customer service person(s) to open our business at our Honolulu location in Kahala. We are looking for people available 2-4 shifts a week. Our immediate need is people available SATURDAYS on a regular basis. We are open from 7-5 on Saturdays and a single shift is 3-4 hours long with double shifts available. Preference will be given to applicants who will not be travelling off island around Christmas.
Starting compensation based on experience, $14-15/hour. Tips are averaging roughly $3/hour
We’re looking for candidates who love serving others and are looking to build on their existing customer service skills to help the rest of our customer service staff perform at their highest level. Individuals that thrive on serving others, love fresh baked bread/sweets and can work confidently under time pressure will be valued members of the Great Harvest team.
Qualifications
- At least six months of customer service experience in a food establishment is preferred but not required for the right candiate.
- High integrity with a great attendance record
- Strong attention to detail. You will be prepping a lot of our product and how careful you are will translate to how popular our products are.
- Excellent communication skills
All new hires will receive training on our processes and customer service expectations.
Customer service responsibilities include
Welcoming customers into the store with an offering of complimentary portions of our delicious breads and sweets
Answering the phone in a professional manner, taking orders and providing information
Learning our products and sharing your knowledge with customers.
Act as our sandwich artist using our freshly baked breads
Help prepare our in house made sauces and spreads
Make certain meats, veggies and cheeses are properly stocked and prepped.
Help train newly hired staff
Regular cleaning and dish washing throughout the day as needed by the business (some shifts clean more than others)
