53 By the Sea is now accepting applications for the Host Person position we have open. We are looking for an organized individual who will be able to manage the dining room service by assigning server tables, maximizing guest reservations and equally distributing server covers. Please note: we are looking for individuals who are dedicated to staying with our company for a longer period of time. No seasonal inquiries will be accepted.
Primary Responsibilities for the Host Person position are (but not limited to):
*Answering phones--taking reservations, answering questions, and taking messages
*Greet guests upon arrival and thank them upon departure.
*Seat guests
*Ensure special occasion birthday menus are given to the respective guests.
*Prepare for service using Digital Dining
*Complete log entry which includes reservations summary, server covers, VIP's and comments for the evening.
*Display a high degree of professionalism, integrity, sincerity and a positive mental attitude.
*Candidate MUST be available on weekends.
