Pint + Jigger is searching for self-motivated and dependable sous chef and lead Cooks.
We are seeking candidates with the following skills:
Directly works under the executive Chef and generally has a love for all things food.
-Compiles orders with correct portion sizes, proper sanitation and quality standards on the line.
-Has the ability to complete hot, cold and some baking prep work.
-Sets up line for efficient flow, per Chef's direction.
-Properly wraps/stores/dates/rotates perishable items.
-Cooks and finishes plates along with appropriate garnish/accompaniments.
-Maintains proper inventory of line items.
-Assures with visual accuracy the plate presentation and cooking specifications.
-Responsible for understanding safety procedures used in the daily operation of all kitchen tools and equipment.
-Understands and practices proper sanitation procedures
-Is even-tempered and flexible with service staff
2+yrs experience in a high-volume property
