The Villas is looking for a fun, creative, and genuinely caring Activity Director who LOVES working with people and in particular with our Kupuna (elders) in a beautifully renovated, fast paced, 5-star, team environment. Under the direction of the Assistant Administrator, our Activity Director is responsible for directing the development, implementation, ongoing evaluation of the activity program, supervising activities staff, and the development of comprehensive care plan goals and approaches that are individualized to match the skills, abilities, interests, and preferences of each guest.

We provide rehabilitation services, physical, occupational, speech therapy, and nursing services. Our mission is "Caring for Our Ohana.” This includes all of our guests, their families, our employees, and our community. Although our market includes all post-acute guests, the primary focus of The Villas is short stay, high acuity guests.

Successful Activity Director Applicants MUST:
Pass criminal background check, TB and drug screen.
Have a high school diploma or GED.
Have at least 2-years of experience in a social or recreational program within the last 5 years OR be licensed as a therapeutic recreation specialist/professional OR is a qualified occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant.
Hours:
Full-time day shift, which will require occasional early evening and weekend work.
