Americare Hawaii Inc. is looking for home health aides and certified nurse aides, for both full time and part time.
On the island of Maui:
Upcountry - Kula, Makawao and Haiku
Central - Wailuku and Kahului
South - Kihei and Wailea
West - Lahaina and Kapalua
As a caregiver with Americare Hawaii Inc., you will help our client's live independent lives in the comfort of their own homes, and your primary job duties would be:
Companionship services- those that stimulate, encourage and assist an individual, such as:
Providing companionship and conversation
Providing stabilization and assistance with walking
Preparing meals and cleaning up meal-related items
Providing medication reminders and appointment reminders
Home Helper services- involve helping with daily chores, such as:
Light housekeeping tasks (dust, vacuum; make beds; clean bathrooms, kitchens, etc.)
Washing and ironing laundry, linens
Running errands
Accompanying clients to appointments
Personal Services- care that is personal in nature and often include assistance with activities of daily living, such as:
Assisting with bathing
Assisting with grooming
Assisting with toileting and incontinence issues
Caregiver requirements include:
Valid Driver's License, and reliable transportation
Clean Background check
Dependable and Reliable
