Beautiful locally owned care home with current openings for experienced primary caregivers that enjoy live-in assignments. Care Home is a brand new 5-bedroom house with a separate 1bedroom/1bathroom upstairs unit for caregiver to live. The home is located in Kailua, Oahu, just minutes from the beach and shopping center. Our ideal candidate is empathetic, hard working, and understands how to deliver patient-centered care. Our residents are mobile needing minimal assistance with daily activities. Duties include assistance in personal care, bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep, vitals, medication assistance, charting, transferring, light housekeeping, and facilitation of activities. We will also provide training opportunities with possibility of job advancement. You will be part of a team consisting of APRNs, RNs, Site Operation Manager, and substitute care givers. You will be supported with on-call clinical support as well as food and supplies delivered on a weekly basis. Photos of the separated 1 bedroom live-in quarters attached.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have a high school GED, and one year experience as a nurse aide providing direct nurse aide care. Current First Aid and CPR certification is required. Candidates must understand how to deliver an exceptional patient/resident experience, be compassionate, reliable and professional. Candidates must be able to demonstrate good documentation in english and have excellent verbal and written communication skills, good time management and prioritization skills, and be dedicated to continual quality improvement.
