Responsible for assisting in the delivery of medical care to patients under the supervision of a medical provider and/or nurse. Performs a combination of administrative and clinical tasks including laboratory specimen collection, preparation and labeling, recording vital signs, prepping exam rooms, administer injections, patient intake, answering phones, patient scheduling and data collection.
Qualifications:
Completion of a Medical Assistant Certification program and at least two years of experience preferably in a primary care setting.
