Hilton Waikiki Beach is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager that will focus on Compliance and Recruitment to join their team!

The role of the Human Resources Manager- Compliance is to provide services and programs that enhance the performance capability of the employees and enable achievement of key business results by managing the Human Resources function. The Human Resources Manager- Compliance with complete human resources functions in a timely and accurate fashion, to include: recruiting, hiring and terminating employees, training, payroll, worker's compensation, benefit administration, employee relations, safety program, record-keeping, and other administrative duties.

JOB DUTIES:

-Assists in managing the programs and processes associated with the implementation and administration of an Affirmative Action Plan to include strategies and tasks to attract, hire, promote and retain a diverse workforce.

-This also includes oversight of the documentation, analysis, reporting and related tasks to ensure ongoing compliance with EEO regulations, ACA requirements at the federal, state and local levels, as well as all internal audit and compliance-related processes.

-Oversees the training of all designated management and supervisory staff on all related AAP, EEO and ACA compliance and audit matters.

-Consults and coordinates as needed with Corporate office legal counsel and human resources, and with external legal counsel as needed to ensure compliance requirements are being met.

-Oversees and manages all Non-Exempt/Hourly full cycle recruitment efforts to include alignment with staffing guidelines; employee requisitions and job postings; sourcing and applicant flow; screening and dispositioning; pre-employment steps to include reference/social media checks and assessments; verbal/contingent offer - background and drug screens; and new hire onboarding.

-Oversees and manages all processes related to leave management which includes FMLA, HFLA, Worker's Comp, Temporary Disability, Military, Personal and all other types of leaves. This includes documenting and maintaining accurate, current and updated records, files and reports.

-Oversees and manages all processes related to the hotel's compliance with the rules and regulations of the Affordable Care Act (ACA)

-Responsible for compliance and periodic audits related to Human Resources I9, TB Clearance, Liquor Registration, HepB, and internal/external required training and certification.

-Assists with the other disciplines of Human Resources to include office management, team member relations, training and development, HRIS management, community and industry relations, and HHC/Stanford brand standards and requirements.

-Performs related duties as assigned by Manager.

-Maintains compliance with all company and brand policies and procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

-3 - 5 years of experience in a Human Resources management capacity and preferably within the Hospitality industry.

-Previous work experience with administering and managing programs and processes related to an Affirmative Action Plan and ACA compliance.

-Previous work experience with a fully-integrated HRIS platform to include recruitment, records management, reporting and analysis, and compliance components and modules.

-Knowledge of applicable Federal, State and Local labor laws.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.

-Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

-Previous experience using UltiPro and ADP highly preferred.

-Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.

-Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

-High School Diploma or GED required.

-Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a related field of study and/or Human Resources professional certification required.

-Flexibility and availability to work weekends, evenings and holidays.

-Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

-Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards.

-Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
