The Hawaii Island Goat Dairy is looking for a part-time milker to join our team! Position is Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening. Experience is not required, but must be comfortable working with animals. This position is physically demanding.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 18 years or older
Large animal experience is a plus
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Self-motivated
Good at multitasking
Have an eye for cleanliness and organization
Safety conscious
Must have transportation
Must be reliable and flexible
Willingness to learn
Must be able to pass a drug test prior to hire
DUTIES:
Feeding and cleaning up after goats
Milking 50-60 goats on a rotational milkline
Setup and cleanup of milking machinery
