The Marketing Specialist position will be responsible for developing engaging marketing campaigns that can effectively attract and retain customers across all of our sister companies.
Our ideal candidate is a sales-minded marketing professional who can collaborate with our Sales and Marketing teams to produce marketing and sales collateral (online and offline) that serves DeWitt's product lines, primarily with Royal Hawaiian Movers. This position will be based in Honolulu.
Ultimately, your performance will be evaluated on your ability to expand our company's brand awareness and work collaboratively with our sales teams to drive new business.
Duties and responsibilities
Liaise with Sales and Marketing teams to generate marketing programs and produce high quality content that supports sales initiatives and accelerates sales cycles
Maximize CRM (Oracle) and marketing automation platform (Eloqua) to drive qualified leads, uncover new business opportunities with existing customers and achieve business targets
Design content marketing strategies that engage customers and prospects, drive traffic and generate qualified leads to achieve business targets
Build and manage a content-rich editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned web properties and provides opportunities for effective lead nurturing
Edit, proofread and work to constantly improve content
Analyze social and web traffic metrics and work with Marketing team to optimize content
Manage the distribution of content across all channels, ensuring a strong digital footprint
Qualifications / Skills:
Sales-minded marketer who understands the local competitive landscape in Hawaii
Hawaii market expertise w/ understanding of what media channels work in specific markets
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to produce collateral that supports the sales process
Keen understanding of content marketing tactics, including SEO, digital advertising, social media and email marketing
Proficiency in CRM management, marketing automation platforms, WordPress or other content management software, with an ability to use data to inform decision-making
Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences
Expertise in social media platforms
Effective project management skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and writing skills
Bachelor's Degree preferred in Marketing, Digital Marketing or related field
At least 2 years experience in fast-paced marketing environment
Time management & organizational skills; flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and assignments
Teamwork, multitasking, resourcefulness and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. Must know how to use Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premier to create marketing content
Graphic design and video production skills a plus
Previous work in logistics field also a plus
