This position will assist the Resource Development Director to focus on organizational development areas including, but not limited to: fundraising events, volunteer efforts, marketing, communication objectives, and grant management to support the mission and programs of the organization.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- College degree or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of two years of work experience with an emphasis on fundraising, marketing, grants, and community and public relations.
- Able to absorb new information rapidly, plan, and manage time proficiently.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Must demonstrate good judgement and problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Work harmoniously with people at all levels of the organization and the public.
- Strong computer skills with a general knowledge of MS Office products.
- Donor management software experience preferred.
- Ability to use common office equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
