WOMEN HELPING WOMEN is seeking qualified applicants for the following position at our donation center / thrift store in Kahului: Front End Cashier (ReVive Boutique)
This position is summarized as follows:
Works as front end cashier and provides support operations within the boutique; helps ensure the movement of physical donations and assists with community relations
Duties include greeting customers, processing cash and credit card transactions (using Square register system), doing bank deposit drops, helping train WHW program participants to volunteer at the boutique, assisting with cleaning and maintenance, and other assigned duties
Position details include:
18 hours per week: Thursdays and Fridays 10:30am to 5:00pm; Saturdays 10am to 3:00pm (leaving the Boutique much earlier than that each day to run the deposit to the bank and still be done on time)
$14 per hour; semi-monthly pay periods
position reports to ReVive Boutique Manager
located at the Kahului Shopping Center (65 W Kaahumanu Ave #32)

Requirements for this job include:
High School Diploma or GED
Basic knowledge and understanding of the dynamics of domestic violence
Prior cash handling experience a plus, but not required
Ability to relate well with people of diverse cultural backgrounds
Valid Hawaii driver's license and vehicle with current insurance
Ability to work well as part of a team with other agency staff members and volunteers
Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
Must be willing to undergo criminal history background check and child welfare services background check (only required after job offer is made)
