POSITION: Administrative Assistant to the Director of Facilities
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate should have some working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, carpentry, and construction .
Physically fit to climb ladders, get onto rooftops, crawl into basements, and climb staircases
Must have their own truck or car with current State of Hawaii No-Fault Insurance and Safety Check
Knowledge of budgeting process.
Articulate in explaining construction, price quotes from vendors, and the process of renovations, repairs and other facility related issues.
Must have excellent writing skills to compose written reports to owners explaining repairs, renovations, construction and technical terms.
Previous experience in condo, hotel, commercial building facility management preferred
Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook; database programs; internet
Responsibilities:
Report directly to the Director of Facilities
Complete all work orders for all properties
Answer and respond to all repair calls from all commercial tenants and clients
Go out into the field to meet with vendors
