Part-Time Independent Merchandiser
We are seeking an independent representative to merchandise the products we sell to retailers on Maui.
TransPac Group is an Oahu-based distribution company. We distribute toys, electronic cigarettes, candy, snacks, mobile accessories and more to accounts such as Longs Drugs and Times Supermarkets.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Merchandise products at customer stores, including rotating and refilling stock
Take new customer orders
Process claims and returns
Maintain good relationships with customers
Periodic store visits
Qualifications include:
Previous experience is preferred, but not required
Driver's license and a reliable vehicle
Reliable smartphone
Quick learner, detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines
Good communication skills and ability to work independently
Compensation and benefits:
Negotiable. Hybrid of hourly and/or commissions based on merchandise sales volume
Because you would be an independent contractor and not an employee, you have a flexible work schedule
Ideal for part-time work, including merchandiser already calling on Longs and Times looking to add new lines
