Position Summary

Direct line supervisor of ATM Technicians. Responsible for ensuring all ATM Technician duties and functions are performed accurately and efficiently with no loss of liability. Trains new ATM Technicians and provides ongoing training and auditing of crews. Ensures that crews submit all necessary documentation in a timely manner and documents and creates reports as needed for the General Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintains control and provides guidance to ensure operations remain efficient and effective at all times and that staff are performing at their highest level of ability. Provides coaching and counseling as needed.

2. Understands the management structure and decision making process and supports the Department’s management and financial goals.

3. Works collaboratively with the General Manager to identify improvement opportunities as part of mentoring and coaching and works with employees to create an improvement path.

4. Responsible for ensuring employee engagement, high morale, and maintaining a team-oriented environment. This includes cultivating a culture of continuous improvement at the departmental and organizational level.

5. Actively supports Company goals of zero accidents, zero injuries, and zero incidents. Initiates Incident and Accident Reports and ensures that all information is completed before submitting to General Manager. Follows up as needed for any outstanding information or issues, including ensuring appropriate corrective measures, when appropriate, are taken.

6. Provides leadership, tactical direction, assistance, support, and instruction to all Department employees.

7. Trains all new Department hires and ensures that all employees understand their responsibilities as trained. Also understands the training required and offered by second line vendors and ensures employees are aware, trained in and are competent in the procedures. Makes sure that all training is documented.

8. Enforces Company policies and procedures, especially dual control, and ensures preventive and corrective actions are in place to minimize operational failures such as loss of liability.

9. Initiates and administers disciplinary action in concert with the General Manager and follows up to ensure that corrective action has been effective.

10. Initiates and provides input on employee performance evaluations in collaboration with the General Manager.

11. Maintains a safe operating fleet of vehicles through review of driver inspection reports, coordination and scheduling of preventive maintenance and repair activities, updating of vehicle permits, licenses, and registrations and evaluation of existing vehicle capacity with changing operating requirements.

12. Controls the issuing/assigning of vehicles, combinations, keys, liability, and equipment.

13. Conducts regular stand-up meetings to keep employees informed and engaged, and to ensure routine training is up to date.

14. Possesses a thorough knowledge of all PCI ATM customer service agreements.

15. Responsible for covering special events.

16. Understands and complies with the following policies and procedures as described in new hire orientation, annual re-training programs, and any other policies or procedures as identified and deemed necessary:

o Sexual Harassment & Workplace Violence

o Work Injury Prevention

o Drug Free Workplace

o Company House & Safety Rules

17. Complies with all Federal, State and local laws as applicable to the scope of duties and responsibilities.

18. Maintains good personal hygiene and a professional appearance at all times. While in uniform, ensures uniform is clean and wrinkle free.

19. Performs all duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

21 years of age or older.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Possess a valid Hawaii State driver’s license (or able to certify that one can be obtained within 3 months) and an acceptable traffic abstract.

U.S. citizen (required to meet City and/or County firearms licensing requirements).

Able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.

Basic math skills to accurately perform the required balancing or reconciliation tasks required of the position.

Other Qualifications

Good at problem solving and analytical thinking.

Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Outlook), Windows, and the use of the internet.

Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent customer service skills.

Good attention to detail and able to perform with a high degree of accuracy.

Highly flexible and able to multi-task while maintaining a positive attitude.

Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal and credit background check.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Hawaii Guard Card.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a license to carry a firearm.

Must be able to obtain and maintain additional security access cards (e.g., RapidGate, TWIC, etc.) as needed.

Experience

2 to 3 years of supervisory or management experience or equivalent.

Cash handling, customer service and/or delivery experience preferred.

Military experience a plus.

Work Hours

Hours are varied and work schedule requires flexibility for weekends and holidays.
