Schedule: SAT and SUN est 16 hrs/week
The ideal candidate requires minimal direct management, takes initiative to solve problems and implements
systems/improvements when needed, is great with direct customer service, is a team player, is able to endure
the physical nature of the work, and vested in moving Hawai'i's local food movement forward. The coordinator will be required to quickly learn a number of different computer programs and applications to conduct their work. There will be opportunities for upward movement and expansion of the role in the company for the right individual. This position has the potential to transform into a full-time role in late 2019 to early 2020.
Job Summary:
Weekend Farmer's Markets (SAT and SUN) 6 AM - 2:00 PM
⢠Responsible for set-up & operation of sales activities at our market booth(s) on Saturdays and Sundays.
⢠Maintain great presentation of the booth at markets. Give effort to sell as much of present inventory as possible.
⢠Provide leadership in Farmer's Market sales and operates the booth independently.
⢠Works well with other members of the sales team.
⢠Maintain accurate inventory records before and at end of markets.
⢠Clean up and maintain orderly environment in our walk-in refrigerator.
⢠Load/Unload, Pick-up/Return van and market equipment before and after markets
⢠File the end of market sales report on google drive
Qualifications:
⢠High School Diploma or GED equivalent
⢠Have a clean driving abstract
⢠Able to lift 55 lbs and awkward weight consistently and load into vehicles (i.e. tents, coolers, tables). You will be moving these items frequently and on a regular basis.
⢠Excitement about the local food movement and sustainable living
⢠A self-manager. Stays focused on the job without constant direct supervision.
