The Hilo Restore Sales Associate's primary role is to create an excellent first and last impression for everyone who visits the Restore. The core responsibilities of the Sales Associate are to provide exceptional customer service, assist in receiving, pricing, and merchandising of donations, and ensure cleanliness and safety on the sales floor. In addition, they will lead volunteers, assist donors, and create a steady flow of merchandise on and off of the sales floor.
Time Requirements: This is part time, 19 hours per week. It may be necessary to occasionally work extra hours as determined by supervisor.
Physical Requirements: Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle merchandise and fixtures throughout the store. Lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in warehouse environment which includes exposure to dust and heat.
Education, Knowledge, and Abilities: Must be 18 years of age or older. Knowledge of staging/ merchandising, tools, building supplies and home improvements are highly desirable. Sale/Retail Experience
