Sales / Design Consultant Position Description

This position will provide our clients with a unique shopping experience by offering excellent customer service. This person will meet or exceed personal sales goals, utilizing effective selling techniques and design experience to help our clients create beautiful projects. The Sales/Design Consultant will help both walk in retail traffic and key trade industry clients (builders, designers, remodeling contractors, etc.).

Specific Responsibilities:

Utilize sales and/or design experience to assist clients in selecting stone, tile and

related products for their projects.

Meet one on one with clients to assess what the scope of their project is and

help suggest appropriate materials within client budgets and lead times.

Engage with clients in a professional way that shows your passion for design!

Manage lead times on your projects to assure client expectations are met.

Provide outreach to your clients, on new product arrivals, any promotions.

Make sure to maintain regular communications with your client base to promote client loyalty.

Attend regular on site product training sessions.

Demonstrate product knowledge of in house lines.

Excellent follow up and world class customer service.

Perform regular transactions including, providing quotes for clients in a timely manner,

excellent follow up to your clients.

Meet and exceed Sales Goals.

Establish rapport and develop long-term business relationships with clients

Other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

Prior sales experience desired but willing to train.

College degree or certificate / background in interior design an or sales is desired but not required.

Strong communication and follow up skills required.

Ability to multi-task and anticipate client project needs.

Problem solving skills a must.
