Ho'omana Spa Maui is looking for a motivated and qualified part - time front desk receptionist. The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for our client's overall experience at the Spa and Guest House by providing superior customer service at the front desk, knowledge of our various treatments, and constantly searching for new ways to make our clients' visits more enjoyable.
Responsibilities include:
Properly open and close the Spa
Create and maintain a professional, safe, nurturing and healing environment where the experience at the spa lends itself to making a difference in our guest's lives
Comply with all Spa safety and health policies and procedures
Maintain a clean well organized reception area.
Maintaining a detailed knowledge of our spa services
Booking, Greeting and Checking in every guest in a professional, welcoming manner
Maintain knowledge of Spa Point of Sale, and scheduling software
Must be trustworthy handling tips and cash sales
Actively promote the sales of spa retail products and gift cards
Take ownership of any guest related concerns or questions, resolving appropriately, and ensuring that all unhappy clients are spoken to and problems are solved
Post Facebook and Twitter messages throughout the day about the activities and happenings at the Spa

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is personable, organized and committed to providing outstanding customer service every day
2+ years of customer service experience, and reliable transportation
Excellent communication skills, able to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and coworkers
High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
Detail oriented and strong problem-solving skills
Strong computer, iPhone/iPad, and Social Media (Facebook & Twitter) proficiency
Strong organizational and written communication skills
