Description:
CUNNINGHAM CABINETS is looking for a very skilled cabinetmaker to do challenging, excellent quality, architectural woodwork for unique, high-end, projects.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
CABINET SHOP SUPERVISOR
Performs supervisory responsibilities for managing a skilled cabinet shop where individuals handle the construction, refinishing, repair, of cabinets and other related work, while also maintaining a safe working environment.
This individual would be responsible for the coordination, scheduling and activities of the cabinet shops 14-15 employees engaged in carpentry and cabinet work for all types of cabinets, wooden furniture and equipment. The supervisor is primarily responsible for the overall performance of their team.
Work may also include personal participation as a master craftsman.
This individual will verify and double check all projects to ensure quality, appropriate hardware, such as hinges and handles, ensure precise count and measurements using blueprints or design plans for reference.
This individual will ensure materials will be used efficiently, and help the projects meet budgetary restrictions.
Essential Functions
⢠3-5 years of supervisory
⢠Understanding of necessary mathematics
⢠Knowledge of materials and processing
⢠Knowledge in Autocad
⢠Proficient in Cabinet Vision
⢠Proficient CNC Programming
⢠Extensive cabinet background Commercial/Residential.
⢠Attention to detail
Working Hours:
Monday -- Friday 7:00 to 3:30
Compensation:
Wage will be commensurate with ability and experience.
