We are looking to hire an organized and efficient "Construction Expeditor.”
The Expeditor should be a well-organized problem solver٫ able to multitask and possessing great communication skills.
Duties will include monitoring the construction sites and jobs and organizing an adequate and timely flow of materials and equipment for them.

Responsibilities for Construction Expeditor
Acquire understanding of the requirements of the project/program at hand
Select metrics to produce valid estimates
Visit sites to gather information
Manage and organize inventory at company warehouse.
Maintain company vehicles
Review documents or consult experts to collect all necessary data
Prepare detailed reports or bids for submission to appropriate parties
Select advantageous deals by evaluating offers and quotes
Foster relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, architects etc.)
Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
Acquire equipment, material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities
Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
Qualifications for Construction Expeditor
2+ years' experience of working on a Construction Expeditor or other similar position.
Significant experience of analyzing and following technical specifications of material and equipment.
Good practical experience with MS Office (especially Excel) and filing systems.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with multi-tasking abilities.
High school diploma: additional certification will be a bonus.
