Skilled electrician using independent judgement for planning, laying out and performing highly skilled work in the electrical trade. Kauai Coffee seeks an electrician to install, repair, adjust, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and operate variety of electrical/electronic/pneumatic/instrumentation and control equipment. Requires knowledge and aptitude with process control and motor controls.
Position is located at the largest coffee estate in the US in Kalaheo and reports to the Maintenance Manager. Qualified Hawaii licensed electrical candidate directs, trains, and oversees journey workers and other assigned workers that may assist the Master Electrician. Must be physically and mentally able to perform the most difficult and highly skilled work on a daily and weekly basis as requested. Must be available to work OT when needed and especially during the coffee harvest season. Must possess a current driver's license and all appropriate certifications and licenses in Hawaii. Ability to speak, read, write and understand English instruction.
